End users are looking to interact with you in as minimal clicks as possible.So, Mostly users will skip or directly enter to visit to website instead if wasting time on intro page.
Animations and Flash
Animated graphics on a Web page went out very long back. Flash elements are now completely out of date, It will not load in browser without flash player. Website animations irritating and distracting end user, and they makes accessibility issues also.
Background Music
Adding background music is not good practice. Try to avoid music on your site unless you are promoting a band.

If you are displaying any message, form & alerts in automated popup, You are doing completely wrong. There is nothing more irritating than a popup on the screen while you are trying to focus on the content of a website. these popups are really difficult to handle on mobile web browsers.
